Assemble frames including T-posts if required. Frames are usually connected by Hoffman Keys. Sill frames are screwed to side frames. T-posts are screwed to top and bottom frames only after properly spaced with panels in place.
Prefered method is to assemble frames in shop but when necessary may be assembled on the job site.

Panels may be mounted to the frames on the floor or standing in the window.
Use clamps as needed to secure assembly together.

- Center assembly horizontally in opening at top (alternatively at bottom)
- "Tack" top frame- one screw on each side. (alternatively bottom)
- Level panels such that frames match each other by aligning the bottom of the frame. Confirm that frames close tightly and have adequtae clearance (1/8") at bottom and top.
- Once comfortable with shutter panels position,Secure frames using a screw at each hinge location. Tack sill frames in place as needed.
- Install magnets if needed. Note - Paramont shutters come with imbedded (hidden) magnets and strikeplates attached for framed shutters. Unframed or hanging strips must be added as needed.
- Finish by caulking and cleaning as needed. Note - caulking is only needed to cover light gaps or other exceptions. It is not needed for most applications and should be avoided when possible.
